I see a butterfly
Crossing glades of grass
Flying across
All these things he must pass.

He ventured the world
In search for a flower
Passing through rainstorms
And pleasant spring showers.

After some time at
The edge of his sight
He saw the flower
And raced with his might.

But to his surprise
A bumble bee’s there
He felt broken hearted like
A child lost her bear.

He flew away
Without saying a word
Leaving the flower
And emotions at curb.

This is the time
That he started to think
“the flower back there,
she must be the link”

the link to being
a flower so simple
yet being a flower
elaborate and beautiful.

Young butterfly told
His friends about this
They laughed out so loud
That they passed on the bliss.

Soon the whole meadow
Learned this case
And young little flower
Lost her grace.



The sunlight, the wind,
Moonlight and rain
Tease little flower
I know it’s a pain.

Butterfly tried to
Redeem her name
But no, it was never
Ever the same.

“I only want
A part of your light”
“But all I feel now
Is the Grim Reaper’s scythe.”
